Sunway Quarry

The Sunway Quarry project was delivered by SFS Architects in collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineering consultants from China for Sunway Quarry Industries Sdn Bhd, one of Malaysia’s leading quarry industry operators. The development primarily involved the construction of a cement batching plant and the installation of specialized industrial equipment, with the M&E consultants providing the technical specifications and installation requirements.

Throughout the project, SFS Architects worked closely with the international consultant team, playing an active role in overseeing project progress while ensuring compliance with local building codes and Bomba regulations. Acting as a key liaison between design, engineering, and regulatory requirements, the practice facilitated the seamless integration of complex industrial systems within the overall development.

This collaborative approach enabled the project to progress efficiently and successfully, reflecting SFS Architects’ expertise in industrial architecture and its proven capability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across international partnerships.
